Just at the point in the semester where there was no time to do anything about it, I was hacked. Several times. It’s a good excuse to do some webbly spring-cleaning, but first marking has to be finished. So please bear with me: it’ll be sorted out soon and there will shortly be a freshly minted, smelling-like-cut-grass website.
If, in the meantime, you’d like to be entertained, I can recommend Ben Schmidt’s vertigo-inducing word2vec visualisation of Google News, the toy that Robin Sloan built which uses neural networks to generate science fiction, and, once they’ve been uploaded, the keynote addresses from this year’s Digital Day of Ideas which I’ve been working on recently.
